Meet Irénée, the ABADBU photographer who has scanned thousands of images every month. His work has led to the first digital National Archives of Burundi.

Meet Patrick, who lost many opportunities because he could access copies of his report cards from secondary school. He’s now digitizing records.

 

Christophe works at the National Archives. One day he went to his town hall to get his child’s birth certificate, but they didn’t have it. He had to register it again.
